TORNADO FULL RANGE

Born from the specific demands of the market, TORNADO guarantees maximum versatility in every installation environment. The modules made with an innovative anodized aluminum alloy and subsequently powder painted to provide high resistance to atmospheric agents and UV rays allow high thermal dissipation and maximum cooling of the LED modules, so as to be able to achieve performance and efficiencies superior. The design of TORNADO has been specifically studied to guarantee high cleanliness of the appliance, the finned shape of the modules allows water and dirt to flow away, avoiding the formation of deposits which would significantly reduce the performance of the appliance.

 

Power supply compartment designed to guarantee IP65 protection together with excellent thermal dissipation. Isolated from the LED modules and related heat sinks to optimize thermal performance and simplify maintenance interventions.

Quick and simple installation, via eyelet system or rotatable brackets in AISI 304L steel which guarantee perfect positioning of the luminaire in both suspended and ceiling-mounted installations. Power is guaranteed through an IP65 quick-fit male connector (3 poles for the on-off version and 5 poles for the DALI version) both complete with safety collar. The use of quick connectors allows, in addition to reducing installation times, also to avoid possible faults or accidental tampering due to the opening of the power supply compartment by unqualified personnel. The accumulations of dust and dirt on the lamp bodies are one of the main causes of malfunctions and breakage of the devices. The shape of TORNADO was born following careful analysis in the laboratory and a series of simulations, through which we managed to identify the shape that allowed the most effective thermal dissipation, while at the same time favoring the flow of air generated by the chimney effect through the cooling wings, facilitating their cleaning. Fighting dust buildup ensures optimal performance throughout the product’s life cycle.

 

Thanks to the optics designed in collaboration with LEDiL (www.ledil.com), minimal flow loss is guaranteed, maintaining a UGR value<22 (EN 12464-1) and a photobiological risk class of RG0 (EN 62471). TORNADO is equipped with very high quality printed optics in polycarbonate or PMMA, in both cases, the available optical apertures range from the more classic rotosymmetric ones (30°, 60° and 90°) to the more specific ones (asymmetric and batwing). Thanks to the high degree of protection that these lenses offer, the entire TORNADO electronic compartment is safe from vapors and dust.
